Amanda's Bag
(the colour is more of a dusty grape. looks a bit grey here)

Karina's Bag

The Abbee and Jessee dolls

so much to do, so little time...

I have been super busy lately making bags, bags and more bags.

Most of the interest has been in the "hold-it-all tote bag". Many of my pregnant and new mummy friends have been asking me to make these into nappy bags for them and i must say they turned out great. Im thinking of making one for myself...if i ever get the time LOL.

I also have a design im toying around with for a messenger bag/nappy bag that clips onto the handles of the pram so mummy has her hands free. Might get stuck into that little project tonight while the littlies are in bed.

I just need a few more hours each day to make things for my soon to be born little girl. 4 1/2 weeks to go and ive only managed to sew together the top of her quilt and make 3 nappies :O)

Im absolutely in my element with all this sewing and Spotlight is loving my business LOL. I just need the number of a brilliant cleaner to tackle the housework that i love to neglect.

BAGS, BAGS, BAGS....THEY'RE VERY USEFUL THINGS....

Our bathroom is finally getting renovated and there is concrete dust and plasterboard fragments flying everywhere. What can a girl do in all this chaos???? MAKE BAGS!!!
I am very busy trying to fill orders for bags after i posted a picture of Nettie's bag I made for her birthday, many loved it and wanted there own.
I made a fuschia pink one for a friends mother-in-law. It turned out so beautiful and im not even all that wrapped in pink as a handbag colour. I will post pics of it as soon as she sends them to me (I forgot to take some myself - blame the preggy brain).
I also made one in a grape colour - that has now found a new home in Perth :O)
I just finished one in army greens (sort of reminds me of floral camoflage) and also completed a tote bag and im going to make one of these for myself cause i love it so much.
Currently i have a wallet on the make, a navy blue bag, a pink bag and a green bag.
Phew so busy, Im running out of needles for my sewing machine.
Trying not to go into spotlight today as i have been in there the last three days. They will be beginning to think I live there.
I will post a few pics of my recent makings....

Need another 24 hrs in a day

I never seem to have enough time in a day to do all the things i want to do. Mostly the housework gets left out, but i scrape by doing the bare minimum. I need all my spare time for crafting. With the kids back at school (YAY!!!) it's just Noah and me. He is such a good little boy - still having his daytime naps so that mummy can race to the sewing machine and create.
Lately i have been pumping out handbags like there is no tomorrow. Each one of them is unique and each one i fall in love with and dont want to part with but i tell myself i can always make another.
I am going to list the ones i make on here to sell.
I love it that others are enjoying something i poured my heart into. Its sort of like a little bit of me goes with each creation and it makes me feel good when people are as happy with my makings as I am.
